Luckenbach’s Winter Blues, ILR# 266133
Walkie Talkie, ILR# 126950 x Alsatian Blue, ILR# 169813
Winter is the first llama that captured my heart. She has her own distinct personality which entertains all who come to visit the llamas. I guess she would be our PR llama.  Winter needs to smell and check out all the new babies, whether it’s a goat, llama, calf, or just the visiting human. If you plan to stay for very long in the pasture, she’ll just kush (sit) beside you and keep you company. Her fiber is wonderful for spinning, plus her coloring makes a heather or tweed looking yarn!!

Winter delivered her first cria on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010.  What a beauty he is!!  His name is Spring Fever and I'll probably call him Fever.  Winter has a heavy coat and so does Triple, so I expect this baby to have wonderful fiber!  His coloring is beautiful and very interesting!!

High Acres Sarai Soft and Silky, ILR# 219080
HLM Ransom, ILR# 179069 x RSR Strawverry Shortcake, ILR# 127913
Sarai is a real sweetheart with wonderfully soft and silky fiber! She truly is a joy to her people. Her endearing eyes, her long eyelashes and wonderful ear tuffs draw you in to find a soft and loving personality. Sarai was Deloris’ baby and now I know why. Many llamas would prefer to be at arm’s length away from you, but not Sarai. She loves to be petted and hugged. Just try to take a picture without Sarai in the frame!
Sarai's last cria, Naomi, is now owned by Anna Reese at Leslie Lane Llamas.  They won 2009 Grand National!   Their picture is below and we are so proud of both of them.  Anna earned the youth versatility award from nationals as being the youth with the highest points earned at the grand national show and is receiving an embroidered jacket for that honor.  Way to go, Anna!!
Sarai bred with Triple and we have hopes of a Spring 2011 cria.

D’Llamaland Holly, ILR# 205985
King’s Ransom, ILR# 147280 x D’Llamaland Contessa, ILR# 156398
Holly is a large girl that has such presence about her.  She walks like a queen, is sweet and gentle and will easily halter in the pasture.  Her fiber is silky and makes wonderful yarn.  Holly has beautiful eyes and ears and makes stunning babies.  Holly is hopefully expecting a 2011 cria after being with Triple in April.

Bradford Corina, IL# 213668

Corina is a beautiful gal with such a sweet personality.  She is very smart and within the first week of moving in to the pasture, she let the other girls know which feeding pen would be her's.  I'm not sure if she chose it for its location or because none of the other girls really liked that pen, but she claimed it as her own.  She has beautiful spinning fiber with soft variations of coloring.  Corina has unusual facial markings with dark gray on one side and light gray on the other side.  She really is a pretty girl and special to my heart!

Dolly Miss Molly, ILI# 274987
Dolly is a tall, classic llama.  She is a wonderful guard llama and a great example of how smart llamas can be. Dolly is clicker trained and it took her less than 5 minutes to realize how to get the reward while halter training her. She remembered it two weeks later when I needed to halter her again.  I was amazed!  She is an escape artist and proves it frequently. Thankfully, she hasn’t managed to open ALL the gates.  She is pictured below with her cria of 2008, Texanna.  Dolly bred with Triple and we are hoping for a Spring 2011 cria.

 E. L. Silver Frost,  IL# 257677
Silver Frost is a sweet girl with big beautiful eyes!  Her fiber is so soft and fine and wonderful for spinning.  Silver has a heavy bone structure and is just a stout girl over all.  She has an expression about her that is hard to describe, but she seems to have an opinion about whatever is going on and is always paying attention!  She also claimed a feeding pen when she first arrived and waits patiently for her food to be delivered, unlike some of the others.
Silver has bred with Triple, so we are hoping for a beautiful Spring 2011 cria.
